How CWAXX analytics work, in plain English

No jargon, no dashboards designed to impress your boss. Here's exactly what CWAXX measures on your profile, what it costs (mostly nothing), and how to read the numbers so you can decide which links earn their place.

Analytics free on every planNo credit card required

01. What gets measured

Every CWAXX profile records five things, and they're the five things that actually answer "is my bio link working?":

  • Profile views: how many times your page loaded, tracked over time so you can see trends.
  • Clicks per link: how many taps each individual link got, the single most useful number on the page.
  • Referrer sources: which platform sent the visitor: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, a Google search, a direct visit.
  • Countries and cities: where your visitors are, geographically.
  • Devices and platforms: phone vs desktop, iOS vs Android, which browser.

That's the whole list. Nothing exotic, nothing you need a data science degree to interpret.

02. What's free, and what's Premium

Everything in section 01 is free, on every profile, with no credit card and no trial that expires. The free plan covers up to 10 links with the full analytics above, over the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 28 days.

Premium ($4.99/month in the US, CA$5.99/month in Canada) adds three analytics-related things: CSV export of your data (per-link clicks, unique clicks, click-through rates, and session-level detail like device, OS, browser, engaged time, and scroll depth, in 24-hour through 12-month ranges), deeper time views (90-day and 365-day), and unlimited links. That's the entire paywall. Nobody is charging you to find out which link got clicked.

03. How to read the numbers

Analytics only matter if they change a decision. Here's the decision each number supports:

  • Clicks per link: rank your links. The bottom ones are candidates for removal or rewriting: a link nobody taps is decoration. Fewer, better links almost always beat a long list.
  • Referrers: this tells you where to post more. If 80% of clicks come from TikTok and 5% from Instagram, that's not a mystery, it's an instruction.
  • Countries and cities: useful when you run anything local (events, services, meetups) or when you're curious whether your audience is where you think it is.
  • Devices: mostly a sanity check. If nearly everyone is on phones (they are), make sure your linked pages load fast on phones.
  • Views vs clicks: lots of views but few clicks means people arrive and leave, your page isn't giving them a reason to tap. Few views but good clicks means the page works, but your bio link isn't getting traffic: that's a promotion problem, not a page problem.

04. What the numbers can't tell you

Honesty requires the limits too. Analytics won't identify individual visitors: you get aggregates (how many, from where), not names. Small numbers lie: 3 clicks on one link and 1 on another isn't a trend, it's noise; wait for dozens of data points before rearranging anything. And clicks measure curiosity, not outcomes: a tap on your booking link isn't a booking. Use the numbers to guide experiments, not to declare winners after a day.

05. FAQ

01Is analytics free on CWAXX?

Yes. Profile views, clicks per link, referrer sources, countries and cities, and device analytics are all on the free plan. The one analytics feature kept on Premium is CSV export, plus deeper 90-day and 365-day views.

02What's the difference between a view and a click?

A view means someone loaded your profile page. A click means they tapped a specific link on it. Views tell you your bio link is working; clicks tell you which destination people actually wanted.

03How far back does the data go?

On free, you can look at the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 28 days. Premium extends that to 90-day and 365-day views, and adds CSV export in 24h, 7d, 28d, 90d, and 12-month ranges.

04Can I download my analytics data?

Yes, on Premium. CSV export covers per-link clicks, unique clicks, click-through rates, and session-level detail (device, OS, browser, engaged time, scroll depth) across 24h to 12-month ranges.
